OSU releases annual research report

Oregon State University’s 2022 Annual Research Report has been released and can be found at https://research.oregonstate.edu/ora/research-report. The report details numerous ways in which Oregon State research continues to transform Oregon, the nation and the world, impacting communities throughout the state and beyond.

“OSU’s research expertise runs broad and deep, with a dedication to collaboration, discovery and practical problem-solving that transcends disciplinary boundaries,” said Irem Tumer, vice president for research.

Research revenue increased in fiscal year 2022 by 22% from the previous year, totaling a record $471.5 million. This is the fourth time in six years research funding has topped $400 million. Breakthrough research highlighted in the report includes studying genetic code expansion, uncovering the effects of climate change, strengthening our early childhood education workforce and many more impactful areas of research that will resonate for years to come.
