Research revenue increased in fiscal year 2022 by 22% from the previous year, totaling a record $471.5 million. This is the fourth time in six years research funding has topped $400 million. Breakthrough research highlighted in the report includes studying genetic code expansion, uncovering the effects of climate change, strengthening our early childhood education workforce and many more impactful areas of research that will resonate for years to come.
