6,000 Samaritan employees eligible for scholarships to learn online thanks to new OSU collaboration

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State University is expanding its relationship with Samaritan Health Services to provide thousands of the regional health system’s employees with more affordable access to academic programs and workforce education opportunities online.

All 6,000 Samaritan employees in the mid-Willamette Valley and central Oregon coast are eligible for reduced tuition scholarships through a collaboration with Oregon State Ecampus, the university’s online education unit.

Oregon State joins alliance to give federal workers affordable learning options online

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Federal government employees have access to more affordable learning opportunities online and enhanced career advancement pathways, thanks to a new agreement announced today between Oregon State University and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

By joining the Federal Academic Alliance, Oregon State will provide reduced tuition scholarships to eligible U.S. government workers and their families who enroll in an Oregon State Ecampus online program.

Oregon State Ecampus secures grant funding to help veterans who learn online with housing costs

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Thanks to a state grant, Oregon State University’s Ecampus online education program is offering assistance to some military veterans in Oregon who learn online but receive significantly less GI Bill housing support than students enrolled in on-campus instruction.

The new funding will support military veteran students studying online at OSU in fields related to technology, health care or manufacturing. The workforce development grant is from the state’s Higher Education Coordinating Commission.

Amazon collaborates with Oregon State, offers employees tuition benefit to learn on campus, online

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State University today announced a collaboration that assists Amazon employees in Oregon in pursuing a college degree by enrolling in OSU courses on campus and online.

Amazon workers in Oregon will benefit from tuition assistance to pursue more than 200 Oregon State programs on the Corvallis campus or at OSU-Cascades in Bend, as well as 90-plus programs through OSU Ecampus, the university’s nationally ranked online education division.

Oregon State, Guild Education create affordable pathway to degrees and certificates online for America’s workforce

OSU earns four top-five rankings for online education from U.S. News & World Report

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State University is ranked No. 4 and is among the nation’s top 10 providers of online undergraduate education for the seventh straight year in a list published today by U.S. News & World Report.

The No. 4 ranking of Best Online Bachelor’s Programs also puts Oregon State in the top five for the fourth time since 2015, a feat no other institution in the Western U.S. can claim.

Canadian Football League taps Oregon State as its exclusive U.S. provider of online education

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State University and the Canadian Football League Players’ Association today announced a collaboration that provides CFL Players’ Association members access to the university’s top-ranked online educational programs.

The agreement gives hundreds of CFL active players the opportunity to advance their education in one of more than 80 degree and certificate programs delivered online by Oregon State Ecampus. The collaboration makes OSU the CFLPA’s exclusive provider of online education in the United States.

OSU Ecampus publishes resources to help K-12 teachers, parents with remote instruction

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University’s nationally ranked online Ecampus program has published a collection of resource guides to assist K-12 teachers, administrators and parents in helping students learn remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The collection of quick reference guides is available to the public online and was developed by the Oregon State Ecampus course development and training team.
