CORVALLIS, Ore. – Culminating a five-year fundraising effort, Oregon State University leaders announced Tuesday that they have surpassed a $150 million goal for scholarships, fellowships and experiential learning opportunities to support student success.

CORVALLIS, Ore. – A university-wide effort to address food and housing insecurity among students attending Oregon State University has received a major boost from a donation by OSU alumnus and volunteer leader Thomas W. Toomey.
Toomey’s gift commitment of $1 million establishes the university’s first endowed fund devoted to addressing students’ basic needs such as food insecurity and emergency housing.
Oregon State University Foundation leader to retire, replacement named
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University Foundation President and CEO Mike Goodwin will retire Jan. 3, 2020. Shawn Scoville, executive vice president of the OSU Foundation, will succeed him. Over the last decade and a half at Oregon State, the two have developed one of the premier public university foundations in the country.
Gift creates deanship, first endowed coach at Oregon State University
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Longtime Oregon State University volunteers and supporters Lee and Connie Kearney have made a $6 million gift, jointly creating the university’s fourth endowed deanship and also an endowed OSU head baseball coach position.
The coaching position is named in honor of retired coach Pat Casey and is OSU’s first endowed coaching position.
More than 2,700 people contribute during Oregon State’s first giving day
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Beaver Nation united Tuesday to raise more than $600,000 to support OSU colleges and programs ranging from student scholarships, the arts, Extension programs and athletics during Oregon State University’s inaugural giving day.
