Media Parking
Journalists arriving between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in vehicles not marked with media organization logos must obtain a parking permit, which is available at no cost. To obtain a parking permit, contact Sean Nealon, media relations manager, and a coupon code number will be provided.
Media parking is allowed in zones A, B, and C. Media are not allowed to park in R1 or R2 zones, service vehicle spaces or special permit areas on campus that are clearly marked.
News media vehicles that are clearly marked with station logos and names are not required to obtain a parking permit to park on the Oregon State University campus, but still must pay the meter if parked in a metered spot.
On-campus TV and Radio Studios
Oregon State University is equipped with on-campus television and radio studio/services that can be used by journalists. Live or live-to-tape broadcast television or radio interviews can be conducted using Vyvx, Zoom, Webex or Comrex (IP Audio). Oregon State staff can also gather b-roll and coordinate live-to-tape interviews at campus locations. For radio, Oregon State's Comrex (IP Audio) provides a broadcast-quality audio feed.
