CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University invites Corvallis-area community members to three virtual meetings this month as OSU gathers community input on the long-term vision for the university’s Corvallis campus.
A draft version of the plan is now complete. The virtual forums will provide attendees an opportunity to learn about draft strategies and recommendations for the campus that are outlined in the plan. The sessions provide a general update on the plan and will cover topics such as the connection between Oregon State and the community, sustainability and transportation.
The meetings, which require advance registration to attend, are scheduled for:
- Jan. 14, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. To register: https://beav.es/JSt.
- Jan. 21, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. To register: https://beav.es/JSy.
- Jan. 26, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. To register: https://beav.es/JSF.
In 2019, Oregon State launched the Corvallis Campus Vision project, which provides guidance for the future of the Corvallis campus’s physical environment. Input on the plan has been gathered since then from community members and OSU stakeholders.
Once the plan is finalized and accepted by the OSU Board of Trustees, the Corvallis Campus Vision will guide consideration and implementation of initiatives and future capital projects to serve the needs of students, faculty, staff, community members and Oregonians, and to ensure that they are aligned with the university's Strategic Plan 4.0.
Comments on the vision can also be made online at this site: https://beav.es/JSC.
