CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University invites Corvallis-area community members to share their input for a long-term vision for the university’s Corvallis campus.
An OSU Corvallis Campus Vision Project community open house is scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, in the Main Meeting Room in the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, 645 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis.
This is not a facilitated meeting. There will be materials present to explain the goals and process of the campus vision project, and university staff will be on hand to answer questions and share what's involved in creating a long-term vision, which will provide a roadmap to guide how the Corvallis campus should look, feel and function over the next decade. Community members are encouraged to drop in and participate.
Those interested can also comment online on the campus vision project website.
"Community participation is key to developing guiding principles for the future of the Corvallis campus," said Lori Fulton, director of capital project delivery for OSU and manager of the vision project.
Once completed, the vision project will be used to guide consideration and implementation of future capital projects to serve the needs of students, faculty, staff, community members and Oregonians, and to ensure they are aligned with the university's Strategic Plan 4.0.
The OSU Corvallis Campus Vision Project will be completed in January 2020 and presented to OSU leadership for approval.
