CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State University Board of Trustees will meet Oct. 22 and 23 and consider the annual assessment of the president and amendments to the OSU investment policy.
The board is scheduled to meet from 9:15 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. Oct. 23 in the Memorial Union Horizon Room. Board committees are scheduled to meet from 9 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Oct. 22 in the Horizon Room.
On Oct. 23, the board will also consider a new Tribal consultation policy and a 2026 board work plan. The board will also hear a legislative update and a mission and impact report.
On Oct. 22, board committees will consider approving work plans and investment and auditing reports. Committees will also hear reports on capital projects; enterprise risk; the Administrative Modernization Program; faculty affairs; Extension and Engagement; audit, risk and compliance; compliance and ethics; and the general counsel’s office.
The Executive, Audit and Governance Committee will discuss a needs assessment in anticipation of future vacancies on the board. Members of the public are invited to submit recommendations about the ideal characteristics of potential candidates as described in the needs assessment.
The Finance and Administration Committee will consider approving the Field Sports Building to advance to the design development phase, which includes completion of construction documents in preparation for bid and construction.

The public comment period for the Oct. 23 meeting of the full board is scheduled to begin at about 11:30 a.m.
There will also be a public comment period before the board votes on any action item listed on the full board agenda.
