CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University’s choirs will present the “Fall Sing!” concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, in the First United Methodist Church, 1165 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis.
Fall Sing! is an annual tradition featuring the OSU Meistersingers men’s choir, directed by Russell Christensen; OSU Bella Voce women’s choir, directed by Sandra Babb; and the OSU Chamber Choir directed by Steven Zielke, director of choral studies at OSU.
The program includes music by Gustav Holst, Randall Stroope, Vincent Persichetti, Felix Mendelssohn, OSU graduate Joshua Rist and others.
Rist is a Corvallis native who completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees in music education at Oregon State. His music is published by Walton, Colla Voce, earthsongs and MusicSpoke, and his work has been performed extensively by universities, honor choirs and high schools throughout the United States and abroad.
Tickets for the concert are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. All seating is general admission. Corvallis Arts for All discounts apply; in person purchases only. OSU students with ID and K-12 youth will be admitted free. Advance tickets may be purchased at liberalarts.oregonstate.edu/fallsing.
