CORVALLIS, Ore. – Auditions for Oregon State University Theatre’s winter production, “Nightfall with Edgar Allen Poe,” will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, in the Lab Theatre in Withycombe Hall, 2901 SW Campus Way, Corvallis.
The adaptation is an abstract retelling of five of Edgar Allen Poe’s greatest works, including “The Raven” and “The Tell-Tale Heart.” Five performers will play 12 roles.
Auditions are open to all OSU students, faculty and staff and community members. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Scripts are available to check out in the Theatre Arts office in Withycombe Hall 145.
Performance dates for “Nightfall” are Feb. 14-17, with technical and dress rehearsals Feb. 9-13. All performers must be available for all technical rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals will begin Jan. 8 and generally run Sundays through Thursdays until tech week.
