CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University’s Theatre Department continues its 2019-2020 season next month with the world premiere of “The Expedition of Whispers.”
Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13-15 with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Feb. 16 in the Withycombe Hall Lab Theatre, 2901 SW Campus Way in Corvallis.
Written by OSU Theatre Arts student Nate Pereira and set in 1937, the play follows a team of explorers as they search a mysterious temple for a valuable relic. In keeping with this season’s theme “The Undeniable Truth,” the characters must all confront their own hidden truths before they make it out alive.
All the designers and cast members are OSU students: Isabel Hanberg designed the costumes; Robert Reeder designed the sets; and Libby Brennen, Alessandra Ferriso, Noah Fox, Kian Mitchell and Hannah Schwartz make up the cast.
Tickets are $8 for general admission, $6 for seniors, $5 for youth and students, and $4 for OSU students. Tickets are available through the OSU Theatre Box Office by calling 541-737-2784, or online at https://liberalarts.oregonstate.edu/sac/theatre/university-theatre/box-officetickets.
