CORVALLIS - The Oregon State University Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Percussion Ensemble will join forces to present a free concert on Thursday, June 5. The concert begins at 7:30 pm at OSU's LaSells Stewart Center, 26th Street and Western Boulevard in Corvallis.
The Concert Band, conducted by Robert Brudvig, will perform works by Frank Ticheli, John Zdechlik and John Barnes Chance.
The Symphonic Band, conducted by Brad Townsend and David Becker, will perform works by Gustav Holst, Percy Grainger and Charles Catel.
The Percussion Ensemble, directed by Brudvig, will perform a marimba quartet by Australian composer Nigel Westlake, a percussion quartet by Tom Hasenplug, and Daniel Levitan's "Trio for Percussion."
