You're invited to meet these researchers and learn about how their robotics and AI research is impacting the nation and the world at the OSU Robotics and Media Fellowship.
The program is modeled on recent successful Oregon State-hosted media fellowships focused on marine science and food and agriculture.
Topics
The three-day fellowship will take place at Oregon State’s campus in Corvallis. Topics include:
- Robotics and AI ethics and policy.
- Robots and their intersection with healthcare, forestry, agriculture and the arts.
- Soft robotics.
- Marine robotics.
- Robots and human cognition and behavior.
- Digital equity.
Details
- Up to 15 journalists will be selected for the fellowship.
- Oregon State will cover expenses including hotel and meals during the time of the fellowship.
- Fellows will be responsible for transportation to and from Corvallis.
- The fellowship is open to journalists across all media platforms, including social media influencers and podcasters.
- Freelancers and international journalists are encouraged to apply.
